On the Internet we can find many resources to learn English for free. I detail some of the most interesting I found:

BBC Learning English
It is the portal dedicated to learning English for the BBC, contains a wealth of exercises to do, tests and audio tracks to listen, a download section and content contributed by users. It also has a series called The Flatmates that play online.

British Council Learn English-
The British Council offers a portal with articles in English, vocabulary, grammar, reading and audio, games and cartoons with audio.

Subinglés
Subinglés is a website where we can find lots of songs aprendernos subtitles for the lyrics, and also exercises where you have to listen to the song and fill in missing gaps.

Sherton English
Sherton English offers a free 52-week course with exercises in vocabulary, grammar and audio. They also have resources very well structured and very useful on pronouns, phrasal verbs, active voice, passive voice, and so on.
