Take your applications and documents always with you with PortableApps
PortableApps is an application that allows us to have our installed applications and settings on a flash drive and have your documents organized by category. We can thus navigate our Firefox at work, taking your bookmarks available, check our mail from Thunderbird (without saving the data from your mail account on the pc, but on the stick), use OpenOffice or connect with Pidgin. We also have the ability to add more applications than the default ones. All applications included are free and free.
To install on our pendrive just have to unburden one of three installers who are in the PortableApps website, run it and select the drive mapped to our pendrive.

Once installed when you insert the flash drive, will appear on the right side of the screen a menu like this from where you can run applications or configure PortableApps:
