What is an ETF?

An ETF (Exchange-Traded Funds) or exchange traded fund is an investment fund that is unique in publicly traded, so it can be bought or sold during the session.
The ETF's can be composed of values ​​that belong to a particular stock index, such as DIA (Dow Jones Industrial Average), or securities belonging to indices of different countries, which is a good choice if we want to access to emerging markets such as China and Brazil that have still many bureaucratic obstacles to the particular user.
In Europe we can find Lyxor ETF ETFs as IBEX 35 in the Ibex 35, Lyxor ETF DAX Xetra Dax in the Lyxor ETF Euro STOXX or 50 in the Euro Stoxx 50.
